Cosa vuol dire ritirare un credito?What does retiring a credit mean?
Significa cancellarlo definitivamente dal registro a nome di chi lo usa per compensare le emissioni. Un credito ritirato non può più essere venduto.It means permanently cancelling it on the registry in the name of whoever uses it to offset emissions. A retired credit can no longer be sold.

Attenzione: dal 27 settembre 2026 la direttiva (UE) 2024/825 vieta, nelle comunicazioni ai consumatori, di dichiarare un prodotto a impatto neutro, ridotto o positivo sul clima basandosi sulla compensazione. Verifica sempre con il tuo consulente come comunicarla.Careful: since 27 September 2026, Directive (EU) 2024/825 bans consumer claims that a product has a neutral, reduced or positive climate impact based on offsetting.
